IBM Competing in the After Hours Gaming League

As you probably know by now, I spend a lot of time playing StarCraft 2.  I try to get better as a player and make my Twitch.tv stream entertaining to watch.  The After Hours Gaming League is getting ready to launch it's second season and the first week of play is tomorrow!  So what is the AHGL?  It's basically a league of teams that represent various big, technical companies and they duke it out on the StarCraft 2 battlefield.  Yes, nerdy, I know.  Each team has about 10 or so players where every player is an employee of the corporation they represent.  Check out the teams when you get a chance, there are definitely some big brands competing this year.

Think of the AHGL like a bunch of basketball teams.  Every week we'll play a different company (tomorrow we start versus AMD).  There are 4 (or 5?) matches played where each team sends out one of there players to play against an opponent from the other team.  Each week, only 4 or 5 players will play, so depending on the matchup, we'll likely run our best 5 out there.  I'm just excited to play in something that has some weight to it.  Popular eSports caster Day 9 will be casting several of the league's games.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to stream these games to my twitch.tv since they don't want results leaked to the public until they are official on the AHGL website.  Anyway, wish us luck!  Go IBM! :)
