This past weekend I attended Jeremy and Alyssa's wedding, which was held at the McCormick Ranch Golf Resort in Scottsdale. I've been friends with Jeremy for over ten years, meeting him through my friend Sam who was in his wedding. While I wasn't in Jeremy's wedding, I attended his bachelor party last month in Phoenix and I was good friends with most of the people that were part of his wedding party.
It's been a while since I've attended a wedding in Arizona, so not having to travel far was a plus. I've actually never been to McCormick Golf Ranch before and it's gorgeous venue. It was early October, so the weather was not ideal and it was a little warm outside for the ceremony on the golf course with the sun shining in everyone's eyes.
They kept the ceremony fairly short, lasting about 25 minutes and then it was off to cocktail hour! I've never seen Cornhole or Bocce Ball at a wedding before, so when they had both I had to get in on the action! About an hour later we were seated for dinner and I got seated with all the groomsmen, who I had known for as many years as Jeremy. It was a nice perk because I was second in line to the buffet for dinner. :)
The rest of the wedding was pretty standard. Open bar, photo booth, dancing, and desserts! Unfortunately I didn't get to stay too long for this wedding. Congratulations to Jeremy and Alyssa and best of luck to the newlyweds!
